At Lime Maids, we are dedicated to connecting our trusted, conscious cleaners to people who need house cleaning services. We put sustainability, quality, and ethics first. Meaning, that we exclusively connect you with cleaners who care.

Through the booking process, we will find out more about your arrival preferences. We typically schedule start times for the morning or the afternoon. Morning bookings typically start between 8-9am depending on your preference and scheduling purposes. Afternoon bookings typically start between 12-1pm. Once we establish your booking date and assign your cleaning technician, we will schedule your booking with a 20 minute arrival window to allow our cleaning technician’s flexibility. Please note that if you are desiring a prompt, predictable arrival time, we recommend a morning booking so your cleaning technician’s arrival is not affected by variables relating to their morning booking.  

Our recurring clients have access to an online portal where they can specify requests for arrival times and schedule preferences

By listening to clients like you, we keep quality control in our network. After each cleaning is performed, we’ll ask you to rate your cleaner. This calculates into a star rating in our system. We encourage our clients to leave these ratings, and we train our cleaning technician’s to appreciate feedback as an opportunity to improve, retrain, and become better. Any cleaning technician that has a rating below 4 stars will go through a retraining program before being assigned to new homes. We also perform quality check periodically to ensure that quality continues to be consistent.

Our mission is to make sustainability the easiest option for you and your home. We naturally include green cleaning into our services, but do not require it. If you do not need or want green cleaning, simply opt-out on our booking form. If you don’t click ‘opt-out’ we’ll assume that you’re a requesting a green cleaning. This helps ensure that a majority of our clients receive conscious cleanings, while still respecting the right to choose.

To make our services as easy and transparent as possible, we charge a flat rate price  based on square footage and frequency for all recurring cleanings – after our clients book an initial cleaning. Ensuring a thorough first cleaning allows for consistency on recurring cleanings.

For initial or one time cleanings, we strive to provide the best quote possible, and here’s our process…

Creating a booking purely based on square footage without seeing your home leaves a lot of room for error. There are factors like lifestyle, current cleaning routines, number of people and pets in the home, etc. that can impact how much time and how many team members are needed for a first time cleaning with a professional service. Getting all the details and scheduling enough time/team members gives us the best opportunity to make sure we exceed your expectations. 

                                           How do we make this process convenient?

Our clients love us because they can book quickly – without having to wait for the process of an in person walk through to get pricing and book an appointment. After years of experience in the industry, we came up with a solution.

Through experience, research, and analysis, we have come up with a series of questions that helps determine a conditions code rating for your home at its current state.  This code, combined with the square footage of your home, determines how we book your first cleaning. This ensures our quote is accurate, our team is prepared, and we have scheduled enough time to make a great first impression – leaving our clients thrilled to come home to a clean home.

If you don’t have time to fill out our quiz, we have trained our team to assess which level of cleaning to recommend based on your initial call. Yup! Your cleaner will bring their own supplies for each cleaning. If you need anything extra  or prefer your own products, just let us know before we visit.

For recurring cleanings, we usually send one team member for homes under 4,000 square ft. All initial cleanings will have a team that will vary depending on the size and condition of your home.

Simply include the code you received on our booking form when asked. After that, the discount will be instantly applied to your booking.

Currently, we only accept payment via credit or debit card. We’ll take your credit or debit card details at the time of booking, however, we only charge after your cleaning service has been performed. We accept all major credit cards (including American Express) and debit cards for payment.

We’ll never charge your card before your cleaning, only after. Guaranteed.

To cancel or adjust a booking, you can either do so through your Lime Maids user profile, or by contacting us at or (802)827-0971. Please give us 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your booking. Otherwise, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
