We get asked questions all the time. Here’s a list of the most common ones, with some answers.

At Lime Maids, we are dedicated to connecting our network of trusted, conscious cleaners to people who need house cleaning services. We put sustainability, quality, and ethics first. Meaning, that we exclusively connect you with cleaners who care.

To allow our cleaners flexibility in their schedules, we currently offer two arrival windows to book in: 8am-12pm or 12pm-4pm. 

Please note: This means that your cleaner will arrive sometime within that time period, not at the start of it. If you have an exact time that you need us to come in, contact us and we will try our best to arrive as close to that time as possible.​

By listening to clients like you, we keep quality control in our network. After each cleaning is performed, we’ll ask you to rate your cleaner. This calculates into a star rating in our system. We only keep cleaners with a minimum of 4-stars in our network, ensuring quality-first. 

We know letting someone new into your home is a big deal. That’s why we’ve created a rock solid three-step satisfaction guarantee.

Our mission is to make sustainability the easiest option for you and your home. We naturally include green cleaning into our services, but do not require it. If you do not need or want green cleaning, simply opt-out on our booking form. If you don’t click ‘opt-out’ we’ll assume that you’re a requesting a green cleaning. This helps ensure that a majority of our clients receive conscious cleanings, while still respecting the right to choose.

To make our services as easy and transparent as possible, we charge a flat rate price per number of bedrooms and bathrooms. To learn more about our pricing, check out our services page.

Yup! Your cleaner will bring their own supplies for each cleaning. If you need anything extra just let us know before we visit.

No two bookings are the same, so unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that your cleaning will take a specific amount of time. However, it’s always good to prepare. You can expect your cleaning to take (on average) anywhere between 2-6 hours. Typically, the smaller your home, the shorter your cleaning will take.

Depending on the size of your home, we’ll either send one or two cleaning professionals over. On average, if your home exceeds three bedrooms, you should expect to see at least two cleaners.

Simply include the code you received on our booking form when asked. After that, the discount will be instantly applied to your booking.

Currently, we only accept payment via credit or debit card. We’ll take your credit or debit card details at the time of booking, however, we only charge after your cleaning service has been performed. We accept all major credit cards (including American Express) and debit cards for payment.

We’ll never charge your card before your cleaning, only after. Guaranteed.

It’s easy! Once you create your profile with us, you’ll instantly have access to your referral code. Send this code to as many people as you’d like. Whenever someone books using your code, they get $50 off their cleaning, and you get $50 in cleaning credit.

To cancel or adjust a booking, you can either do so through your Lime Maids user profile, or by contacting us at support@limemaids.com or (802)827-0971. Please give us 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your booking. Otherwise, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
